WEBINAR: Double materiality according to CSRD/ESRS: the must-knows

Posted
June 2023

Double materiality is the approach through which companies need to identify their most material ESG impacts as well as the risks and opportunities that the environment, people and governance issues pose on their financial performance. It will dictate the topical disclosures companies will need to report on to meet with the requirements in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

On June 19th 2023, Enact held a webinar session where we went through the key components of double materiality according to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). We looked at both impact and financial materiality and presented an overview of the reporting requirements in ESRS. We also discussed the importance of this analysis and the role of stakeholders in it.

The webinar was held by Anamaria Vargas, Head of Enact Sweden and Senior Advisor at Enact, together with Renee Bijvoets, Senior Advisor and Project Manager at Enact, based in Amsterdam.
