About this event
Join our webinar session Finland’s proposal for implementing the CSDDD: what the new corporate sustainability law means for companies
On 5 November 2026, the Finnish government submitted to Parliament its proposal for implementing the CSDDD in Finland, together with a bill on supervision and sanctions under the EU Forced Labour Regulation. In this breakfast webinar for companies based in Finland, our expert breaks down what the proposal means in practice, which companies are covered, and how to prepare, wherever your company sits on the scope line. An overview of the CSDDD implementation landscape will be provided.
In this webinar, we unpack what the Finnish proposal actually suggests and what it means for companies operating in and from Finland. More specifically, we will:
→ Explain what the Finnish proposal looks like
→ Explain how it aligns with, or diverges from, the EU directive
→ Explain what it means if you are in scope, or supply to a company that is
→ Cover the accompanying bill on supervision and sanctions under the EU Forced Labour Regulation
→ Provide an overview of the next steps in the legislative process, and offer concrete recommendations for preparation, whether you fall inside or outside the new scope.
Hosted by Enact, this session will give you a first, practical look at the Finnish proposal and what it means for your business.
