Project manager, consultant and/or senior advisor specialised in human rights due diligence

As a project manager, consultant, and/or senior advisor you will be working both in teams and independently. You will be engaged in product and service development, making sure that our clients get the best possible solution proposed and delivered, and that our offers and product portfolio are up to speed with the latest developments on the international sustainability agenda. You will take part in identifying and developing sales opportunities as well as leading and executing projects of various sizes. As part of the job, you may also be engaged in internal as well as managerial tasks beyond the clients and projects you are engaged with, for example managing one of our client networks or developing and doing trainings for both smaller and larger groups.

Your profile:

  • You are knowledgeable and have relevant experience from working with sustainable businesses, both from an operational as well as a strategic perspective.
  • You have a solution-driven and positive mindset; you are good at time management, and you enjoy working in teams.
  • You are self-driven and curious, you have a well-developed sense of urgency and a proven ability to understand clients’ needs, also in complex contexts, and to develop your initiatives.
  • You are operational and like to get things done with style and you have a well-calibrated ethical compass.
  • You are a service-minded people-person who enjoys interacting with clients and other stakeholders.
  • You have full professional proficiency in English and Swedish, preferably also in additional languages.
  • You have solid experience in consulting and sales (3 years or more for a project manager/consultant role).
  • You have a relevant education and a background working with human rights due diligence, and you have excellent knowledge of human rights-related international frameworks and regulations.
  • You know how to assess, develop, and improve sustainable and responsible business conduct and due diligence processes, and how to communicate your findings and proposed improvements in, for the client, an understandable and relevant way.
  • You are familiar with the strategy and policy development, target setting, risk management as well as governance issues including business ethics and anti-corruption.
  • Besides being a specialist in the area of human rights, you are familiar with other sustainability areas such as sustainability reporting, climate change and climate adaption.
  • You are confident in facilitating training and workshops, writing reports both in Swedish and English, as well as taking part in managing Enact’s Business and Human Rights network for our key clients.

Location: Sweden, ideally in Stockholm, but not a requirement
