Suvi is a senior sustainability advisor at Enact Finland. She has over 15 years of experience in sustainability consulting and international development. She has supported clients in various industries to develop human rights due diligence processes, conduct human rights impact assessments and develop sustainability programs, KPIs and reporting, including performing Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) double materiality assessments. Suvi has acted as a lead consultant in an EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance project focusing on creating an EUDR due diligence system.
Suvi also has wide-ranging expertise in international development with civil society organisations and the UN. She is experienced in engaging with various stakeholders, for example in supporting local civil society organisations advance human rights in East Africa and developing artisanal and small-scale mining in Zambia. She has also managed civil society projects on climate change adaptation and rural livelihoods in East Africa and South Asia. Suvi holds a Master of Social Sciences degree in Political Science from the University of Helsinki and is an LL.M. in International Law candidate at UCLouvain.
