Renée Bijvoets is a consultant and project manager at Enact, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She has experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, project- and stakeholder management, sustainability communication and reporting. Renée has worked in a large multinational setting in the retail and food industry and has a good understanding of the role of business in sustainable development.

Prior to joining Enact, Renée worked as a sustainability expert and sustainable purchasing manager at Lidl Netherlands. She worked extensively on creating more sustainable value chains together with suppliers. She has knowledge on a diverse range of sustainability topics, including human rights, biodiversity, animal welfare and climate.

Renée holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and Business and two Master’s degrees, both in Business Administration and in International Development Studies. During her studies, she conducted sustainable development projects in Indonesia, Mozambique and Uganda.
