About Marta


Marta is an independent Advisor on Business & Human Rights, regularly collaborating with Enact. She is a Business & Human Rights expert with a Master’s in International Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) and a Bachelor’s in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste (Italy). She is a current PhD candidate in International Law at the University of Lausanne, working on a thesis focused on Business & Human Rights and sustainable development. In 2022, Marta was selected to present her research at the 7th Business and Human Rights Young Researchers Summit, an international platform that gathers promising young scholars in the BHR field.

Throughout her career, Marta has worked with multiple actors committed to promote human rights and corporate responsibility: the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), the United Nations, various NGOs, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Deloitte. She regularly speaks at conferences and seminars, and conducts trainings on BHR and human rights due diligence. In addition, she regularly contributes to leading publications in the field, such as Business and Human Rights Journal (BHRJ), Business and Human Rights Resource Centre, and Sense & Sustainability.
