Maja Iwar-Svensson is a consultant and project manager at Enact, based in Stockholm, Sweden. She has over 15 years of experience in procurement, supplier collaboration, and product development within global value chains, complemented by leadership roles in circular retail. Maja has worked extensively in the fashion, footwear, and accessories industry, sourcing directly from suppliers across Europe and Asia, giving her an in-depth understanding of production realities, cultural contexts, and the operational challenges of implementing sustainability standards in global supply chains. At one of Sweden’s largest second-hand retail chains, Maja took part in developing more efficient production flows, strengthening work environment management, and delivering on ambitious commercial and sustainability targets—directly contributing to circular economy objectives.

Since joining Enact, Maja has worked on projects involving double materiality and gap assessments, stakeholder engagement, environmental and human rights due diligence, and sustainability strategy development—building a robust working knowledge of frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Maja also has experience as a facilitator, is confident in leading trainings and presenting complex topics in a clear, engaging, and actionable way. She brings strong writing skills and excels at translating technical and regulatory requirements into concise, practical outputs tailored to diverse audiences.
