Sanjida is a consultant and a project manager at Enact based in Stockholm, Sweden. She has nearly two decades of experience addressing social and environmental challenges linked to human rights accross South Asia and East Africa. For the past 10 years, Sanjida has honed her expertise in conducting research and training on human rights due diligence (HRDD) processes for responsible business conduct in diverse industries ranging from readymade garments to agriculture, electronics and renewable energy. Her recent research foucused on the divergence between the purchasing practices of clothing companies and living wages for workers in the supply chain.

Her academic achievments, including Master’s degrees in Local and Regional Development from the Netherlands, and Urban Planning and Geography from Bangladesh, along with her professional expereience has strengthened her knowledge and expertise on labour, women’s,  child and community rights.   Sanjida’s goal at Enact is to help clients integrate sustainable practices into their operations, ensuring compliance with global human rights standards in line with the CSDDD and CSRD.
