Nathalie is a project manager and consultant at Enact. As a consultant she works with clients in both the private sector as well as the public sector, advising them on sustainability and business and human rights.

Prior to working as a consultant, Nathalie worked at ING Group as a sustainability professional. Combining her business background with expertise on human rights, her strengths lie in human rights due diligence and implementing human rights within business processes.

She has experience with setting a human rights strategy and embedding human rights within companies, having worked on implementing the UNGPs, the Dutch Banking Sector Agreement on Human Rights and the UK Modern Slavery Act. She was also part of the Environmental and Social Risk team at ING, providing lending and transaction advice on ESG risks throughout high risk sectors and industries. Furthermore she was globally responsible for CSR activities as well as the operational director of ING’s corporate foundation, in which she worked closely together with UNICEF.

Nathalie is a graduate from the University of Amsterdam, where she studied Business Administration. After working for almost ten years she decided to gain a post graduate master from SciencesPo University in Paris, where she studied Human Rights and Humanitarian Action, specialising in emerging economies.
