May Hylander

May is a consultant and project manager at Enact. She supports clients with setting up and improving their Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence processes. She has deep knowledge of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence directive after having followed the political development for more than 6 years. From 2022 onwards she worked in Brussels directly with policy makers in its drafting. She has a strong interest in Bussines and Human Rights and has worked both with advocacy, research and supporting companies and organisations on their sustainability journey.

She has lived and worked in Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Sweden and Belgium and has a broad interest of sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Development and Policitcal Science and has studied Human Rights law and ethics on Master’s level.
