Anamaria Vargas

Anamaria is an advisor, facilitator and project manager at Enact. She supports clients to develop and implement their sustainability strategy and communication, including in line with the CSRD regulation. Anamaria is an appreciated trainer and she has been a process leader for leadership programs and events. She is an experienced project manager and facilitator of working groups, trainings and workshops. Anamaria has worked with sustainability reporting and the 2030 Agenda, and she has experience conducting stakeholder dialogues as well as risk and materiality analysis.

Before joining Enact, Anamaria worked as a sustainability consultant supporting companies from various industries such as textile, medical supplies and equipment and real estate. She has also previously worked at the UN Global Compact Network in Colombia, where she focused on peace and anticorruption issues, and partnership building. Prior to that, Anamaria was an analyst at the Bogota Chamber of Commerce and she has supported the United Nations and NGOs on gender issues, peacebuilding and advocacy for development in India, France and Colombia.

Anamaria holds a bachelor degree in Political Sciences and International Relations and two master degrees, one in International Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and another in Leadership for Sustainability from Malmö University. She speaks fluent Spanish, French, English and Swedish.
