About this event

Enact's Sustainability Due Diligence Practitioners Workshop Series: Risk Internal Audit

Enact Sustainable Strategies is proud to offer a specialised training series on human rights due diligence integration for practitioners working in internal controls and corporate functions.

Drawing on our extensive experience working with companies within responsible business conduct for 20 years, we recognise the practical challenges of integrating human rights due diligence into existing systems and processes. This training is designed to cut through complexity, providing clarity, concrete guidance to help you embed human rights due diligence into your daily responsibilities, strengthening your role as a trusted professional. The course enables professionals across functions to speak a common language and develop ways of working together to address human rights risks in a structured and practical way.

For each module we build the content around requirements that are relevant to the particular function, company good practice and the knowledge required by the staff in each function. Only limited seats are available for each module to ensure dialogue and tailored learning.

Information about the Risk & Internal Audit module:

This course is designed for risk professionals and internal auditors who want to understand how human rights due diligence connects across impact management, enterprise risk management and reviewed by internal audit. We go through the risk ecosystem, from identification through assessment and finding human rights compatible solutions and monitoring the outcomes. It explains how human rights risks differ from traditional company risks and how due diligence can be embedded in risk assessments, controls, monitoring, audit strategies and reporting. Through practical examples and peer discussions, participants will gain the tools to strengthen oversight, enhance reporting, and provide independent assurance that governance, risk management and internal controls effectively address human rights risks and meet evolving regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
