Can social dialogue change societies and enable all people to benefit from globalisation?

Enact conducts an interactive workshop for The Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO) and The Swedish Institute (SI) at Almedalen. The workshop is in an informal and creative atmosphere where all participants, including international guests, actively take part in discussions on how to enhance social dialogue as a tool to create equality and decent work on a global level.

Enact has been supporting SI in organising the annual Swedish Institute Sustainability Forum since 2013. The Forum is a creative, 48-hour global think-tank that serves a dual purpose: to develop real-life practical solutions that help companies and organisations deal effectively with some of the key sustainability challenges of the 21st century, and to help society to be more resilient in meeting known and unknown challenges.

On 20-22 November 2017, SI and LO in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organised The Swedish Institute Sustainability Forum 2017. Let’s Talk! Rethink the roles in society. Reinforce social dialogue for change. Regain a better world. The theme Let’s Talk! Is inspired by the Global Deal Initiative with the intention of enhancing social dialogue to enable all people to benefit from globalisation. The Forum will take place at Runö, outside of Stockholm, Sweden, with confirmed keynote speech by the Prime Minster of Sweden, Stefan Löfven.

Would you like to develop tangible solutions to challenges in your region, industry or organisation? Would you like to work in partnership with others? Then you should register your interest to attend by 3 September 2017 and use the Forum as a platform for your efforts?
