Enact is proud to offer our course on human rights and environmental due diligence (sustainability due diligence). The course consists of four sessions that will focus on the essential components of effective sustainability due diligence and what it means in practice through carefully designed and prepared sessions.
The focus of the course:
- Understanding the foundations of human rights and environmental due diligence through the lens of international frameworks and mandatory human rights/sustainability due diligence legislation.
- Looking into how due diligence (DD) is embedded into a company’s ongoing work.
- Deep-diving into areas of specific focus for sustainability due diligence.
- Through good and best company practice, exploring the different steps of due diligence throughout the value chain, including cases of complex contexts.
General information:
- Duration: online LIVE sessions carefully designed for your optimal learning. Each session lasts 3 hours and is designed through the following learning components:
- curated lectures by our experts,
- practical implementation,
- case examples,
- group discussions and learnings.
- Recordings are available after the sessions for the duration of the training.
- Pre-reading material are shared in advance of each session. For best learning outcomes, we suggest that participants prepare for each session. Whilst not compulsory for completion of the course, it will benefit the learning and insights of how to apply the frameworks into practice.
- Certificate of attendance: Upon completion of the course, participants that have attended or watched the recordings of all the sessions will be awarded a diploma.
Target audience:
- Corporate sustainability, ESG or sustainability practitioners; in-house specialists within legal, compliance, risk, audit, non-financial reporting, human resources, procurement and alike.
- Professionals working within government, international organisations, NGOs, or unions.
- Unfortunately, this course is not open for participants who are consultants, trainers or alike in the field.
