Strategy & Structure
However, few have a structured way of working with responsibility. This is in spite of the fact that consequences of an individual co-worker’s irresponsibility could be disastrous and that pro-active work can be a tool to strengthen the brand.
Even fewer have a clear plan to connect responsibility to the overarching business targets. Without a clear vision for the work, a clear strategy linking the activities to the overarching business targets, measurable goals, a realistic plan for implementation and convincing internal communication, it is difficult to achieve long lasting results from a financial as well as from an environmental and social perspective.
Shortly, our work consists in helping our clients to create orderliness in the responsibility and sustainability work. We assist in developing strategies, clear business links, priorities, divisions of work, KPI’s, targets, implementation plans, follow-ups and changes in structure.
The processes used for developing strategy and structure are equally important. The strategy development should almost always be driven internally by co-workers. We assist in this work with tools such as interviews, workshop meetings and coaching.

Climate FOCUS Nordic
Enact offers a highly qualified customer survey, which provides in-depth analyses of customers’ attitudes and real consumer behaviours. The survey Climate FOCUS Nordic will be finalised in September 2009.
The survey has been implemented in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, with 1500 respondents in each country. It is now being conducted for the second time.
Last year's survey has been used by Vattenfall, Tetra Pak and KRAV, among others. Areas being studied range from car driving and waste sorting to purchases of dairies and electricity.Aside from the study itself, we offer tools and process facilitation to develop your communication and marketing, using the survey results as a departure point.

System support
Clear targets, reporting and follow-up are needed as part of a structured approach to responsibility and sustainability. Many companies’ work is still relatively manual in this field. More or less sophisticated Excel sheets, e-mails and tables are sent to be put together at aggregate level once a year or once a quarter.
More and more companies realise the benefits from more structured and automatised systems to collect and aggregate sustainability data from different parts of the organisation. They increase the possibilities to manage and develop the work and simplify reporting.
Today, well developed business systems for sustainability exist. These are standardised web solutions that can be linked to ordinary business, human resources, and other systems.
Enact has expert knowledge and networks with users and suppliers of some of the best systems in the market.
