POPULAR SEMINAR ON BUSINESS AND HUMAN RIGHTS

Enact organised a well-attended seminar on business and Human Rights Tuesday 7 June. One month before the seminar was held, it was fully booked and about 50 participants from various companies, government agencies and non-profit organisations attended the seminar. Kathleen McCaughey, Project Coordinator at Amnesty International Sweden , spoke about the organisation’s campaign ‘Demand Dignity’ and about how Amnesty views poverty and which role companies can play in addressing the problems connected to it.

Anna Nilsdotter from Enact also presented her view of trends around business and human rights and what stakeholder expectations will look like in the future.
