Enact is supporting Instrumenta

Instrumenta sells surgical tools and technical equipment to the Swedish health care sector. An inspection conducted at one of their suppliers in Pakistan revealed a number of shortcomings.

Enact is supporting Instrumenta in the work to improve the social and environmental working conditions at the supplier, to ensure that the code of conduct is followed and to improve the routines for monitoring. The first step will be to improve the working conditions at the supplier’s site, to handle shortcomings regarding health and security aspects of the work environment, to make sure that the environmental standards are followed and to prevent subcontractors from hiring child labour.
