Enact has been a strategic advisor to Cardo (now a part of ASSA ABLOY) in the development of their sustainability work

Cardo was an international supplier of dock-loading equipment, industrial doors and garage doors, and systems for transportation and wastewater treatment. Cardo also delivered process equipment for the pulp- and paper industry. In April 2011 Cardo was purchased by ASSA ABLOY. Enact has helped develop Cardo's sustainability work, both at the strategic level and by being a resource support in the implementation. This has, among other things, involved comprehensive global energy consumption and carbon mapping using a proprietary web tool, and reporting on the first year of Cardo’s sustainability efforts in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) guidelines.
