Business Challenge
Our client is a rapidly growing multinational industrial engineering company serving most industries. The company has a long history in Sweden. Acquiring and keeping the right competence around the world, however, is pivotal to sustain growth and achieve the company’s overall objectives. An innovative and strategic human resources approach is therefore important. Diversity as an integral part in meeting the human resources challenge had been on the agenda for a long time, however, with little progress.

How we helped
Based on existing overall strategies and Human Resources priorities, and specific workshops with key representatives, Enact assisted the development of a strategy outlining why, what and how diversity can be a tool in achieving business success. A key element in the strategy was the description of the business case for diversity, with examples from competitors, market leaders and other companies.

Results
The strategy has been approved by group management and communicated to senior Human Resources managers. It is currently being implemented throughout the company.
